Prayer Strategy

OVERALL STRATEGY

God-dependence is one of the cardinal values and accordingly the ministry must be prayer infused. We believe strongly in dependence and faith, accountability, and community (fellowship, encouragement, and teamwork.)

Our mission is one that can only be accomplished by divine effort. The mission also places us on the front lines of spiritual warfare, with great potential for impact but equal challenge as well.

Therefore the staff and board must be committed to prayer as a group and to the development of a prayer support base that is both comprehensive and deep.

There are at least four “levels” of prayer. In a sense they form concentric prayer circles and meet the need both for broad and deep prayer support. The levels are:

1. Personnel (staff and board) (L1)
2. Prayer Teams (L2)
   These are specific small groups that make special investment to consistently uphold the in prayer and to provide fellowship, encouragement, accountability, involvement, and interaction.
3. Email Prayer Lists (L3)
   Strategic Prayer Coordinator will keep email lists of friends of the ministry who would like to pray for our ministry. This list is less personal information and more ministry need specific.
4. General Database (L4)
   Staff will send out a monthly newsletter, which include praise, progress and prayer update to our entire database.
